MFS Europe: 2024 Youth Leadership Conference draws record numbers
MFS Europe: Developing tomorrow’s leaders
Over three nights, 79 Canadian teens, currently posted to 11 different countries across Europe with their families, took part in the 2024 Youth Leadership Conference in Maastricht, Netherlands.
This was a record number of participants for the annual conference, organized and hosted by MFS Europe March 7 to 10, 2024.
The goal of the event is to connect Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) youth, forge new friendships, create lasting memories and develop leaders of tomorrow.
Opportunity of a lifetime for CAF teens
Our amazing youth travelled by planes, trains, and automobiles to attend the conference. For many participants, it was the first time they’d traveled alone.
They came in as strangers to each other, but by the end forged new friendships. Weekend activities included fun and engaging leadership training, and the opportunity to broaden their peer network with other CAF youth through social activities like bowling, escape rooms and sightseeing excursions.
