NPP Travel Policy

The new NPP Travel Policy is based on the NPP principles of fairness, transparency, flexibility, duty of care, no cost to traveller, and transparency. It shall guide all travellers in achieving fair, reasonable, economical, and modern travel practices. These principles will also be a guide for decision-makers in considering and finalizing travel requests and approvals.

This policy applies to the Staff of the Non-Public Funds, Canadian Forces (SNPF, CF) as well as to members of the Canadian Armed Forces, DND Public Servants, Non Public Property (NPP) contractors, and other persons when travelling on authorized NPP business, including training.

The updated NPP Travel Policy is in effect August 3, 2021 onwards.
