Family Connections

Our Family Connections programs are designed to encourage peer-to-peer support in a safe space where families and children can connect with each other. The MFRC is a welcoming environment for children of all ages and a great way for families to meet each other or reconnect and have fun.

Fam-tastic Bowling Event (FULL)

Join us for a fam-tastic afternoon of family fun and competition! Families will come together for the ultimate 5 pin bowling experience. Cost is $10 per person which includes bowling lane, shoe rental, pizza, popcorn and pop.

Dates: Saturday, May 25

Time: 2 – 4 pm

Location: St. Albert Bowling Centre and Rec, St. Albert

Open to: Current-serving CAF families

Cost: $10 per person, due at the time of registration

Family Movie Day

Join Us for Family Movie Day at the MFRC! Bring the whole family and cozy up in your comfiest pjs to watch Kung Fu Panda! And what's a movie without snacks? Indulge in delicious popcorn and refreshing juice boxes, water and cans of pop, all provided for your enjoyment throughout the movie.

As you enjoy the adventures of Po and his friends, we'll also have a designated activity space available for those who need a little break from the movie. Coloring sheets and crayons will also be provided to keep the little ones entertained. The Youth Centre will also be open for those ages 9-17.
